Saints are 11-7 after bye week but have lost the last two, can Kellen Moore break the skid vs Falcons

The Saints haven’t lost three straight since Sean Payton researched Andy Reids formula after the 2008 season.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are limping into New Orleans without their starting QB Michael Penix who was recently placed on IR with a knee injury, and their #1 receiver Drake London who is nursing his own knee injury.

On paper this is a winnable game for the Saints who are favored vs their divisional rival but there’s a dilemma.

The Falcons offense has seen an uptick of late and averaged 25ppg over their last three outings while the Saints sit at a measly 10ppg during that same span.

Having had two weeks to prepare for their opponent, the tandem of Tyler Shough and Moore must do something that Rattler and Moore couldn’t and manage at least three offensive TD’s.

It would help if they worked on fixing their Red Zone offense during the bye as they rank dead last in the league converting only 38% of their attempts.
